Our Program Options

Flavorful Foundations

Our Flavorful Foundations program consists of single session experiences that include fun, educational activities perfect for after-school programs, summer camps, and community groups.

Flavorful Foundations explores the foundations of culinary skills with a farm-focused, culturally relevant, and local approach. These interactive cooking classes blend tradition with innovation – getting family recipes in a modern kitchen.

Savory & Sweet Skills

For progressive sessions that help youth build skills over time - consider our Savory & Sweet Skills development series. These progressive sessions are typically conducted weekly, but can be adjusted to another cadence or frequency based on your program needs.

Savory & Sweet Skills teaches youth essential culinary and baking & pastry methods and techniques while emphasizing life skills and the importance of locally sourced ingredients. Participants gain nutritional knowledge and hands-on experience, fostering healthy eating habits.

Custom Programming

We can design a fully customized culinary program to align with your organization’s needs. Options include:

  • Curriculum development for schools & nonprofits

  • Specialized workshops (e.g., plant-based cooking, food career exploration)

  • Interactive farm-to-school programs

Program Logistics

  • Option 1: FLICK’s Commercial Kitchen (available starting Summer 2025)

    Host your group in our fully equipped teaching kitchenlocated at 35 Columbus Street in Auburn, NY.

    Option 2: We Come to You!

    We bring the experience to you! Note an operational kitchen or cooking setup is required for onsite program delivery.

  • Elementary (Ages 6-10)

    Fun, hands-on cooking and food science activities.

    Middle School (Ages 11-14)

    Intermediate techniques, recipe execution, and global cuisine exploration.

    High School (Ages 15-18)

    Advanced skills, food entrepreneurship, and career-focused sessions.
